DESCRIPTION
Behavior Cue Cards are designed to help staff know how to respond to learners depending on the on the learner’s current zone. Each learner is unique; therefore, having this resource available is helpful for staff to stay consistent and to meet the learner's needs best.
WHEN TO USE
Use this resource for staff that come into the classroom, take the learner out, or support staff that work directly with the learner. Ensure that all staff are trained on the interventions before implementing them.
HOW TO USE
When a therapist/staff member comes into the classroom to take a learner, the teacher points to the zone color the learner is in. The therapist knows what the learner looks like while in that zone and how to intervene if necessary.
